The breath of worldly men cannot depose the deputy elected by the Lord.
Ouroboros Theatre Company in association with The Everyman present Shakespeare’s Richard II at the Abbey Theatre, as part of the company’s exploration of Shakespeare’s history plays.
A timely examination of the nature of kingship, power and corruption, Richard II draws us into a world of Machiavellian deceit in which the effects of power have devastating consequences.
Artistic director of Ouroboros Theatre and well known actor Denis Conway brings a fresh perspective to Shakespeare’s classic tale, alongside founding company member and director Michael Barker-Caven.
