Pegeen’s Café 

Our café, Pegeen’s is a space for dreaming, reading, and talking and celebrates our building & our theatre history. The café welcomes the public, the theatre community and our staff to share space, conversation, and snacks.

Pegeen’s was designed by theatre designer Katie Davenport and its furniture comes from the treasure trove of the Abbey Theatre prop room.

Open from Monday to Friday from 9am – 4pm, serving teas, coffees, and baked goods, with a weekly lunchtime offering of soup and a selection of tasty toasted sandwiches from Golden Brown.

Abbey & Peacock Bars 

Our bars offer a welcoming space to relax and chat about the productions, before and after each show. We open an hour before each performance and interval orders are welcome. 

Our welcoming staff stock a great supply of Irish craft beers & gin suppliers, alongside a list of carefully selected wines & cocktails.
