You can see our range of booking options below. Please note that tickets for the Abbey Theatre are only available for sale directly through the theatre and authorised partners like the Dublin Theatre Festival and the Dublin Dance Festival.

You can reach us on (01) 87 87 222 or email boxoffice@abbeytheatre.ie Monday to Friday, 12pm – 6pm. Box Office hours may change when there are no performances in the theatre. Alternatively you can browse our upcoming shows and book tickets online 24/7.

Payment Methods 

Online and over the phone, we accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. At Box Office, we accept cash payments and Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Booking Guarantee 

We are making a guarantee to our customers that if a performance is cancelled or postponed, as a ticket holder you can:

1. Move your tickets to another date (subject to availability)

2. Cancel your tickets and keep the value as an Abbey Theatre gift voucher, which is valid for five years, so you can use it to book tickets in the future

3. Cancel your tickets and receive a full refund to your card

Booking fee 

For all events occurring from January 2026* onwards, a €1.50 per ticket booking fee is applied to Abbey Theatre ticket sales.

*Excluding Dublin Gothic, 24 Hour Plays and First Fortnight

Affordable Tickets 

There are a range of 15 Euro seats available for all of our Abbey Stage performances, while discounts are available to specific groups (see below).

Students, seniors, theatre makers, and the unwaged 

Students, seniors, theatre makers, and the unwaged can avail of Concession prices across all shows when buying online or through our Box Office.

Promotional Codes 

If you do have a promo code & would like to use it for an online booking, please enter the code before choosing your seats, otherwise the code will not work and your tickets will not be reduced. If you have applied the code and you are still being charged full price, do not proceed to checkout, please contact Box office and we will assist you.

If your code is limited to a specific period of time, please be aware that it will only reduce your ticket price during that booking window, for example between 1pm and 2pm.
