Our new production of Teresa Deevy’s most significant play – Katie Roche.
Katie is young, impulsive and illegitimate. When she rushes into a marriage with a man twice her age, she struggles to conform. Will she learn to live with her decision? Over 80 years since it premiered at the Abbey Theatre, Katie Roche remains an urgent play from one of Ireland’s most important writers.
