As the National Theatre of Connection, a central ambition of the Abbey Theatre is to engage new audiences and expand access to the best of Irish theatre. Theatre for All, generously supported by Lead Access Partner, Deirdre and Irial Finan and Access Partner, Vhi, ensures that the widest range of people feel invited to, and welcomed at, the National Theatre of Ireland.
Theatre For All is open to community groups and DEIS schools, ensuring that people who might not otherwise experience the thrill of theatre and live performance can do so at the Abbey Theatre, encouraging a broad engagement with the arts in Ireland. Approved groups and organisations will be able to access to 5 Euro tickets for a range of performances at the Abbey Theatre – more details below on how to apply.
This initiative celebrates inclusivity, diversity, and the power of shared cultural experiences. Whether it’s a classroom discovering the magic of live performance or a local community group enjoying a night out together, we want to make sure the National Theatre is open to all. The Abbey has already welcomed groups like Fatima Groups United, BeLonGTo, Saint Matthew’s Family Resource Centre, Louth Volunteer Centre, Belmayne Educate Together, and many others through its doors.
