As a key member of our Stage Crew, Larry was an integral part of our Technical Stage Department, so we quote here some words from the Abbey Technical Team, who have shared their deep loss with all of us in recent days:

The outpouring of love and support from all who knew Larry and indeed many who didn’t, but had heard tales of his endeavours, has indeed helped to lighten the load. The love being shared has been overwhelming…. it really helps so much.

It’s going to be tough, but the support and the sharing of memories will be of great assistance to all who knew Larry, especially to his family back home in Liverpool.  Our thoughts are with them all at this difficult time.

Larry was one of a kind, an unapologetic and outspoken supporter of the underdog. A true humanist expertly delivering satirical twists in his native scouse. His take on life resonating deeply with all who knew him. Larry’s deep love for music and his Liverpool home was inspiring.

We will all miss you deeply Larry. You are and always will be the epitome of what is to be ‘Sound’.

Rest in Peace Mate.
