Friday, 28th November 2025: The Abbey Theatre has today published its Gender Pay Gap Report. This is the Abbey’s first Gender Pay Gap analysis.

The data shows that the Abbey is balanced across genders, with minor statistical variations that would not indicate bias. There is near parity between male and female pay levels. This is more notable in median values which reflects the Abbey’s commitment to fair and equitable pay practices.

The report’s results suggest that, overall, there is no material gender pay gap at the National Theatre of Ireland. The balance reflects a well distributed pay structure, with equitable representation across pay levels.
