We will be in Dublin Aug. 3-10 to watch our son participate in the Rock and Roll Marathon. Does the Abbey have any special events planned? When can I purchase tickets for a Backstage Stage tour during that time?

I would love to take a tour. Am I mistaken in gathering that the only tours are May 15-18? Will there be any tours June 28-July 1? Thank you.

My husband and I will visit Dublin from June 1 through 4. We’re avid theater-goers and would very much enjoy a backstage tour of the Abbey Theater. Are there any tours scheduled for that period that you’d recommend?

We all would like to thank you VERY MUCH for organising our guided tour of the Abbey Theatre (and in less than a week!).
It was absolutely FANTASTIC and we all agreed to say it was one of the best tours we have ever done so far (and we have been pretty much in all Cultural and Heritage Sites around Dublin for the last 3 years).
I also would like to give a huge congratulations to our guide who was so knowledgeable, interesting and passionate about the Abbey Theatre!!! This is really contagious!!!
And also a huge thank you to the Abbey team who kindly demonstrated us fire use on stage, lighting, floor and decoration. They were so nice to explain to us what their job was about and we really appreciated them to take a bit of their time to talk to us!
This is definitely a tour not to be missed and I will definitely pass on the word around me! I would love to go back again and I will see to book some tickets for the next coming show and eventually to access the Abbey Archives. We have all been left very impressed!!!
