Why not immerse the team in the creative world and processes that enable brilliant plays and texts come to life on the stages at the National Theatre? Discover the intricate journey directors, designers and makers undergo to bring the page to the stage, on our behind-the-scenes tour.  Aspects of these tours can be tailored to the team’s area of expertise or interest: including a deeper dive into several key areas including marketing, design, production, and process.

Workshop 

The essence of teamwork requires that team members work together to produce the best results. Improving teamwork within an organisation can have a positive impact on staff morale and staff turnover as well as business operations. Whether it’s making the most of team dynamics or negotiating a group’s differences, businesses need to work cooperatively and creatively. This workshop has an emphasis on fun and draws from the insight of the rehearsal room, where performers have to find innovative ways to support each other’s strengths and reach a common goal. Theatre is also about telling stories, so the workshop uses insights from our popular Theatre Skills for Business sessions to show how to make your communication more engaging and imaginative.

• We cater for groups of 10 to 30 people with the possibility of lunch before or after the experience.
• For groups of 15 or more, the group will be divided into two, with one group doing a tour with a tour guide and one group doing a workshop with our workshop facilitator, before swapping over for the second part of the experience.
• The experience typically takes 3 hours in total plus an extra 30 – 45 minutes for lunch, if required.  Workshops can be booked from 10pm to 1pm or from 2pm to 5pm.
