B for Baby writer Carmel Winters discusses the process of writing for stage and screen with Brian Singleton, Samuel Beckett Professor of Drama & Theatre, Trinity College Dublin.
Since debuting at the Abbey Theatre last year as part of the Dublin Theatre Festival, Carmel Winters B FOR BABY has won the Best New Play at The Irish Times Theatre Awards 2010 and toured to 14 venues throughout Ireland.
Carmel is also an award winning screen writer. Her debut feature film Snap premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival in New York and went on to collect the prestigious Variety Critics’ Choice Award at Karlovy-Vary International Film Festival, Czech Republic.
