Shakespeare’s timeless stories are full of magic and fun and now they can be enjoyed by everyone. Let us introduce Malvolio, a lesser known character who will guide you through one of Shakespeare’s best loved comedies.
I, Malvolio is the playful story of Twelfth Night cleverly disguised as riotous rude fun. Through a highly-charged and hilarious rant, Malvolio will draw you into Shakespeare’s play. Children (12yrs+) and young teenagers will delight in this tale of lost dignity, practical jokes and bullying.
This popular show is written by and stars Tim Crouch, who we have invited to the Abbey Theatre following acclaimed performances in New York and Vancouver.Through this and his second show I, Peaseblossom, our aim is inspire a new generation to become curious about the work of Shakespeare.

What a wonderful treat this show is. So original, inspirational acting and a very passionate performance. Brought 17,14 and 11 year olds....a very accessible show without any sense of dumbed down. Best laugh we have had.

Outstanding performance by Crouch. If there was ever an example of ‘in the moment’ this is it. Still laughing now..
