To mark the 40th anniversary of Ireland’s pre-eminent independent publisher, The Gallery Press, Dublin Writers Festival has assembled a stellar line-up of Irish poets for a very special one-off celebration. Participating writers include: Seamus Heaney, Derek Mahon, Ciaran Carson, Vona Groarke, Michael Coady, Eilean Ni Chuilleanain, John Montague, Dermot Healy, Medbh McGuckian, Gerald Dawe, Alan Gillis and Peter Fallon.

For the last four decades, The Gallery Press has published poetry, drama and prose by these and many other leading contemporary Irish writers. With over 400 titles to its name, The Gallery Press has amassed a formidable list, showcasing the finest of new Irish writing by established and emerging literary figures.

With individual readings plus music from Bill Whelan, this exclusive poetry encounter is a fitting tribute to a modern Irish institution.
