Travel Information: Luas Works

O’Connell Street, Marlborough Street, Talbot Street, Abbey Street, Henry Street and Jervis Street Diversions.

To facilitate essential works required for the Luas Cross City Infrastructure contract on O’Connell Street, Marlborough Street, Talbot Street and Abbey Street it will be necessary to change traffic movements and modify delivery access in the area.

Traffic restrictions will be in place from 9pm, 21 May 2016 and are scheduled to be completed at the end of July.

Traffic diversion signs will be in place for the duration of works. From the Wednesday 22 June, there will be no left turn from Marlborough Street to access the Irish Life car park. Please plan your journey to allow extra time for this.

Luas Red Line Customer Notice Jervis – The Point

Luas Red Line stops from Abbey Street to The Point will be closed from 9pm Sat 21st May to the end of July.

A replacement bus service will serve Jervis and the closed stops during this temporary closure. The bus stops will be located a short walking distance from the closed Luas stops. You must have a valid Luas ticket or a Leap Card to use this bus service. Touch On/Off your Leap Card at Jervis stop.

The rest of Red Line services will operate as normal but services will terminate at Jervis stop in the city centre.

These temporary stop closures are necessary to facilitate Luas Cross City construction works on O’Connell Street and Marlborough Street.
