Tanya Wilson

This is Tanya’s first time working at the Abbey Theatre. During 2010 she directed and performed three solo performances, A Woman Alone by Dario Fo, Spoonface and Betty Lemon and Positive or Negative, which she also wrote. Other theatre credits include Who is Fergus Kilpatrick?, winner of the ABSOLUT Spirit of the Fringe ’09 award, As you are now so once were we, winner of the ABSOLUT Fringe Best Production ’10 award (The Company), Black Snow, The Hostage and Love’s Labour’s Lost (Samuel Beckett Centre), Carnival (Kabosh Theatre Company) and Crystal’s House (Classic Stage Ireland). Television credits include This is Nightlive (RTÉ) and Best: His Mother’s Son (BBC). She will be performing her solo show Spoonface and Betty Lemon in Bewley’s Café Theatre later this year. She is a graduate of the Bachelor in Acting Studies, Trinity College Dublin and completed an Honours Degree in performance and directing in 2010.
