Stacey Gregg

Stacey Gregg’s previous work at the Abbey Theatre includes Cows Go Boom for the Abbey’s 20:LOVE season and Shibboleth, a co-commission with the Goethe Institut and the Abbey Theatre which had a reading directed by Conall Morrison on the Peacock stage as part of the Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival.

Hr first play Ismene was shortlisted for the Royal Court Young Writers Festival. She was subsequently on attachment at RADA, and commissioned through Rough Magic’s SEEDS programme to develop Grand Tour.

She wrote collaboratively for the Bush Theatre London on 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, and Tinderbox Belfast, for which she is now developing a further commission. She was one of the playwrights featured in Paines Plough’s Come To Where I’m From season. She is currently on attachment with the National Theatre Studio, and under commission with Watford Palace Theatre.

Her devised production Eveline Syndrome played at the Dublin Fringe Festival. Lagan is being currently being developed with Root Theatre Company. Stacey also writes for screen and is developing an original television series and a one off drama.
