Ruth McGill

Ruth McGill

Ruth’s last appearance at the Abbey Theatre was in The Cherry Orchard. She graduated from the Professional Acting Programme at the Samuel Beckett Centre, Trinity College Dublin. Other theatre work includes Macbecks (Olympia), Everybody Loves Sylvia, Fewer Emergencies, The Drowned World, The Illusion, Eeeugh!topia (Randolph SD | The Company), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (The Corn Exchange), All in the Timing (Inis Theatre), The Turn of the Screw (Storytellers), Can You Catch a Mermaid? (Pavilion), Sweeney Todd (Gate Theatre), Woyzeck (Rough Magic Seeds) and The Shaughraun (Albery Theatre, London). Ruth is also a trained soprano and has co-devised and performed three cabaret shows with her company, Songspiel: Songspiel (Cobalt Café), Neues Songspiel (Bewleys Café) and Songspiel – Still Unplugged (Cobalt Café). Television credits include The Clinic.
