Rory’s work at the Abbey Theatre includes Anthony in The Last Days of the Reluctant Tyrant by Tom Murphy, Antipholus of Ephesus in The Comedy of Errors, Seán Keogh in The Playboy of the Western World, Big Love, Heavenly Bodies and Rough Magic’s Improbable Frequency. Other theatre work includes Brick in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (The Corn Exchange), Ross O’Carroll Kelly in The Last Days of the Celtic Tiger (Landmark Productions), Is This About Sex?, Don Carlos, The Taming of the Shrew, Attempts on Her Life (Rough Magic), Woyzeck (Corcadorca), Sleeping Beauty (Landmark Productions), The Evils of Tobacco and The Bear for which he was nominated Best Actor, Dublin Fringe 2006 (Mangiare Theatre), King Ubu (Galway Arts Festival/Fineswine),The Wiremen (Gaiety Theatre), A Christmas Carol (Gate Theatre), Liliom (Rough Magic Seeds II), Dr Ledbetter’s Experiment, The Yokohama Delegation (Performance Corporation), King Lear (Second Age), Nocturne (Cardboardbox), To be Confirmed (Project Arts Centre), Family Stories and The Drunkard (b*spoke). Television credits include The Baker Street Irregulars (BBC), Trouble in Paradise and Nothing Personal (RTÉ).
