Ronan’s work at the Abbey Theatre includes The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Romeo and Juliet, Henry IV (Part I), Da, Living Quarters, Observatory, At Swim-Two-Birds, The Passion of Jerome, By the Bog of Cats, Macbeth, The Doctor’s Dilemma, The Well of the Saints, Monkey, The Man Who Became a Legend, Shay Mouse, Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching towards the Somme and Philadelphia Here I Come!. Television and film credits include Badly Drawn Roy (BBC/Jam Media), The Catalpa Rescue (CIS TV/RTÉ), The Ghost of Duffy’s Cut (RTÉ/Tile Films), Fair City Special (RTÉ), Proof, On Home Ground (RTÉ) and Amongst Women (BBC/RTÉ), Batman Begins, Studs, Coolockland and The Snare. Directing credits include Tara has Written a Play, The Journey, All the Glove in the World (Fishamble), Little Malcolm and his Struggle against the Eunuchs, Free Range and The Girl who Barked Like a Dog (Bull Alley). He was Assistant Director on Urban Ghosts (Bedrock), Titus Andronicus (Siren) and Mud (The Corn Exchange).
