Oonagh Murphy
Oonagh is the Resident Assistant Director at the Abbey Theatre. Other directing credits include Do You Read Me? (Smock Alley Theatre and ABSOLUT Fringe 2011), I am a Home Bird [It’s Very Hard] (Project Arts Centre), presented as part of THE THEATRE MACHINE TURNS YOU ON: VOLUME II and developed as part of Project Brand New, FAT (Players Theatre), and Ann and Barry: What Kind of Time Do You Call This? (National College of Art and Design, ABSOLUT Fringe 2009 and 2010) and Nineteeneightyfour (Samuel Beckett Theatre). Oonagh also worked as production dramaturgy for the work-in-development The Blue Boy with Brokentalkers (Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival 2010). She is a graduate of the Bachelor in Drama and Theatre Studies at Trinity College where she is also a PhD candidate researching contemporary Irish theatre practice.
