Niamh Lunny
Niamh is Head of the Costume Department, Abbey Theatre. Her design work here includes Only an Apple, The Seafarer, Blue/Orange, Homelands, Portia Coughlan and I Do Not Like Thee Doctor Fell. Other work includes Beware of the Story Book Wolves (The Ark, nominated for an Irish Times theatre award), Operation Easter (Calypso), Here Lies (Operating Theatre), Shorts (Fishamble) and Rent (Olympia). She spent four years as costume co-ordinator at the Samuel Beckett Centre where her work included The Ballad of the Sad cafe, Dracula, Mad Forest, The Divorcement of Figaro, ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore, Artists and Admirers and Stages of the Nation. Film and television work includes Studs, Dead Bodies, Evelyn, On Home Ground, Anytime Now and Black Day at Blackrock. Niamh is a graduate of Limerick College of Art and Design.
