Naomi Wilkinson

Naomi’s work at the Abbey Theatre includes 16 Possible Glimpses, Translations, Christ Deliver Us! and La Dispute. Other recent work includes Ein Winternachstraum (Bern Ballet, Stadt Theater Bern), The Way of The World and Alice (Crucible Theatre, Sheffield), Twisted Tales (Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith), Ivan and the Dogs (ATC Theatre), NQR (Scottish Dance Theatre), Peer Gynt, awarded Best Design Scottish Critic’s Award for Theatre 2008 (Barbican Theatre, National Theatre of Scotland and Dundee Rep Theatre), The Fahrenheit Twins (Barbican Pit), The Last Witch (Edinburgh International Festival), Debuts (National Theatre Scotland and Traverse Theatre), Just for Show (DV8 Physical Theatre and Lyttleton Theatre), Glacier (Queen Elizabeth Hall and UK Tour), Critical Mass (Almeida Opera), On Religion (Soho Theatre), A Midsummer Night’s Dream, awarded Best Design Scottish Critic’s Award 2007 (Dundee Rep Theatre), I Weep At My Piano, Happy Birthday Mr Deka D, The Firework Maker’s Daughter and I’m a Fool to Want You (Told by an Idiot) and Don’t Look Back (Dreamthinkspeak Brighton, Edinburgh festival and Somerset House London). Naomi’s design for La Dispute was selected to represent Britain at the 2011 Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space and will be exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London in March 2012.
