Lalor’s work at the Abbey Theatre includes Lay Me Down Softly, Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme, In a Little World of Our Own, for which he received an Irish Times/ESB Theatre Award for Best Actor, Freedom of the City and The Tempest. Other theatre work includes The Lonesome West, John Bull’s Other Island, Paradise, The Weir (TMA Best Actor nomination), Over The Bridge, A Doll’s House (Lyric Theatre, Belfast), Hard To Believe (Bickerstaffe), Pentecost, Convictions, Gibraltar Straits (Tinderbox), Place of the Pigs (Prime Cut), Measure for Measure, Shadows, King Baby and Amphibians (RSC). Film and television credits include Boy Eats Girl, The Chosen, Pulling Moves, Peter The Great, All Things Bright and Beautiful, Circle of Deceit, Schizophrenic City, Lanes of Five, Between the Lines, Brinalaugh and Steve McQueen’s award winning film, Hunger, winner of the Camera D’Or, Cannes Film Festival.
