Kathy Rose’s work at the Abbey Theatre includes The Passing, The Plough and the Stars and The Burial at Thebes. Work at RADA includes The Cosmonaut’s Last Message to the Woman He Once Loved, Platonov, Widows, Hiawatha and Assassins. Other theatre work includes Leaves for which she received an Irish Times Theatre Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress (Druid Theatre Company, Royal Court), Little Women (Gate Theatre), Ellamenope Jones: The Musical and The Fall of Herodias Hattigan (Randloph SD | The Company), Alice in Funderland (Thisispopbaby), The Rep Experiment: Mr Kolpert and Platonov (Once Off Productions), Listening Out and What’s Their Life Got? (Theatre 503, The Latchmere) Captain Oates’ Left Sock (Finborough Theatre), Handel’s Crossing (Fishamble: The New Play Company) and The Birthday Party (Bristol Old Vic). Film and television credits include The Daughter of the Brotherhood and The Whistleblower (RTÉ) and George Gently (BBC). Radio credits include The Burial at Thebes (RTÉ). She studied Drama and Theatre Studies at the Samuel Beckett Centre, Trinity College Dublin and trained at RADA.
