John Currivan

John Currivan

This is John’s first time working at the Abbey Theatre. He began acting with Clondalkin Youth Theatre aged nine. He has just graduated from Trinity College’s Bachelor in Acting studies programme. Productions while at Trinity include The Drunkard (dir. Raymond Keane), Now is the Winter of Our Discontent (dir. Jason Byrne), Churchill 3x (dir. Annabelle Comyn), Love’s Labour’s Lost (dir. Tom Creed), Sweeney’s Flight (dir. Eric Weitz), The Hostage (dir. Sarah-Jane Scaife), The Winter’s Tale (dir. Andrea Ainsworth) and The Cherry Orchard (dir. David Horan). Dance works include Footnotes with Tapestry Rhythm Dance Company (dir. Diane Richardson). Television work includes Jason Henry in Aifric directed by Paul Mercier.
