This is Dee’s debut at the Abbey Theatre. Other theatre work includes Beautiful Dreamers, AngelMeadow, Vardo Corner, Thirteen, The Boys of Foley Street, Laundry, World’s End Lane, Memory Deleted and Down the Valley for which Dee won the Best Actress Award in the Belltable Unfringed Festival (Anu Productions), Locked (Philip Kelly), Always Alone Together (Game Theory), Macbeth (Boil in the Bag Productions), Revolution (Tracy Ryan), Dolls (Sorcha Kenny), Black Wednesday (Show in a Bag), The End of the Road (Fishamble: The New Play Company) and Out of Service (Directed by Willie White). Television and film work includes Red Rock (TV3), My Baby Girl (BBC), Audrey (Stephen Cromwell), Are we Ready? (Damien Hickey) and All my Love (Eamonn Little). Dee won the Best Actress Award in the Cork International Film Festival in 2007. She holds a BA degree in Social Science (UCD) and is a qualified Youth Theatre facilitator (National Association of Youth Drama).
