Janice Byrne

Janice’s last appearance at the Abbey Theatre was in Tom Murphy’s The Last Days of a Reluctant Tyrant. She graduated from Rose Bruford College with a 1st BA (Hons) Acting. Her theatre credits include there The Inland Sea (Greenwich Theatre), The Crucible (The Rose), Hermione in The Winter’s Tale and Elizaveta in Children of the Sun. Other theatre credits include Top Girls (Galloglass), Dancing at Lughnasa and Steaming (Axis Centre). Film and television credits include Whistleblower (ITV), Uncle Bill’s Barrel (IFB), Portobello 196, Ordinary World, Zonad (nominated Best Lead Actress in a Feature Flm IFTA 2010) and most recently a guest series regular in Primeaval, Series 5 (ITV and BBC World).
