Janet Moran

Janet’s work at the Abbey Theatre includes Translations, No Romance, The Recruiting Officer, The Cherry Orchard, She Stoops to Conquer, Communion (Irish Times/ESB Theatre Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress), Barbaric Comedies, The Well of the Saints and The Hostage. Other theatre credits include Freefall, Everyday, Dublin by Lamplight (The Corn Exchange), Unravelling the Ribbon (Gúna Nua), Translations (Ouroborus), Submarine Man (Upstate), Metamorphosis, Platonov (Once Off), Fables, Tales and Tatlers (Pavilion Theatre), The Crock of Gold (Storytellers), King Ubu (Finewine, Galway Arts Festival), Romeo and Juliet, Othello (Second Age), Emma (Storytellers), Pineapple (Calipo), All’s Well that Ends Well and Dancing at Lughnasa (An Grianán). Television and film credits include The Clinic, Minim Rest, Career Opportunities, Love is the Drug, Breakfast on Pluto, Nothing Personal, Moll Flanders, The Butcher Boy and Trivia for which she was nominated as Outstanding Actress in a TV Comedy Series at the Monte Carlo Television Awards.
