James Murphy

This is James’ debut at the Abbey Theatre. Other theatre work includes Toxic, Blood Wedding and Bee Loud Glade (Project Arts Centre), The Winter’s Tale (Cork Opera House) and The Drugs Don’t Work (Dungannon Footlights). He developed a one man performance, Disappeared and staged it as part of the Manifesto Showcase in the Complex, Smithfield. James studied at the Gaiety School of Acting and graduated in 2011. He was awarded the prestigious Gaiety Theatre Bursary Award in 2010.
