Hilda Fay
Hilda’s last appearance at the Abbey Theatre was in Little Gem (Gúna Nua) and The Playboy of the Western World. Her theatre work includes Little Gem, for which she received Best Actress Award, Dublin Fringe 2008 (Project Arts Centre, Civic Theatre, Olympia, Flea Theatre, New York and the Traverse, Edinburgh where it won The Best of Edinburgh Award 2009), The Vagina Monologues (Tivoli Theatre, national tour), The Woman Who Walked into Doors (Olympia, Helix), Fontamara, Green (Vesuvius), Kiss ‘n’ Tell (Andrews Lane), Aladdin, Sinbad, Cinderella (Gaiety Theatre), An Feilican Fan (Crypt) and Trojan Woman (Plush). Film and television credits include Finbar’s Class, Ordinary Decent Criminal, Saltwater, Though the Sky Falls, Proof, Prosperity, On the Street Where You Live, The Clinic and Whistleblower, for which she was nominated for an IFTA for Best Supporting Actress. Hilda is best known to the Irish public for her role as Tracey in Fair City. She graduated from the Bachelor in Acting Studies course at the Samuel Beckett Centre, Trinity College.
