Helen’s work at the Abbey Theatre includes The Comedy of Errors, Tarry Flynn (Abbey and Royal National Theatre, London) and Men to the Right, Women to the Left. Other theatre work includes West, Don Juan (Pigsback), Vampirella (Project Arts Centre), Eddie Bottom’s Dream (Belfast Opera House, national tour), As You Like It (Druid), As You Like It (Gate), The Last Days of Ollie Deasy (Macnas), The Importance of Being Earnest (Townhall Galway, national tour), Wired to the Moon (Fishamble), Moll (New York, Boston), Misery (national tour), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Barabbas), Wallflowering (Project Arts Centre, national tour), Talking to Terrorists (Calypso), Lil’ Red and Ska8er Jack and The Sunshine Boys (Civic, Tallaght), Ruby Tuesday, Roman Fever (Bewleys Café Theatre), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (The Corn Exchange). Film and television work includes The Old Curiosity Shop, Maigret, Angela’s Ashes, A Love Divided, Durango, Dillusc, Paths to Freedom, How Harry Became a Tree, No Tears, Goldfish Memory, In America, Ella Enchanted, Veronica Guerin, Proof, Showbands, Running to Stand Still, Dorothy, Cracks, Wide Open Spaces and Badly Drawn Boy. Helen has also written and directed three short plays for children based on works in the National Gallery of Ireland.
