Gerard’s previous work at the Abbey Theatre includes The Well of the Saints, Borstal Boy, The Playboy of the Western World, Twelfth Night and Hadrian VII. Other recent theatre credits include The Wonderful World of Dissocia (Calypso), Diary of a Hunger Strike (Aisling Ghéar), The Field (Machine Theatre), Dublin 1742 (The Ark), A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream (Corcadorca), The Lonesome West (Everyman Liverpool), The Sleeping Beauty (Anthem Productions) and Hamlet (Second Age). Film and television credits include Killinascully, Trouble in Paradise, The Last Furlong A Lifestyle, The Most Fertile Man in Ireland, Green Freedom and Mystic Knights of Tír na Nóg.
