Gerard Mannix Flynn

Gerard Mannix is an artist, performer, author and a member of Aosdána. He co-wrote The Liberty Suit (1977). His novel Nothing to Say (1983) has been translated into many languages and is a widely acclaimed literary work. He has written for radio, television and screen. He was a recipient of the Edinburgh Fringe First Award along with the Irish Times Best Play award (2004). Gerard Mannix Flynn is a co-founder of Farcry Productions Arts Company which produces visual art and theatre works. Current work Padded Cell and Other Stories is currently on exhibit at ADIFFERENTKETTLEOFFISHALTOGETHER and a further exhibition Remnants of our Past is showing at Vyner Street in London. He is currently working on a portrait for the National Portrait Collection of Ireland. He has laboured for 30 years in the arts and is currently an elected member of the Dublin City Council as an Independent for the South East Area of Dublin city.
