Gary Lilburn

This is Gary’s first appearance at the Abbey Theatre. His most recent work includes Loot (Hull Truck), The Hostage (Southwark Playhouse), Calendar Girls (Chichester Festival Theatre and West End), The Man Who Had All The Luck (Donmar Warehouse), Living Quarters (Lyceum), Dancing At Lughnasa (Manchester Library), The Quare Fellow (Tricycle Theatre), Hen House (Arcola Theatre), A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Golden Ass (Shakespeare’s Globe), Buried Alive (Hamstead Theatre), Angels And Saints (Soho Theatre) and The Weir (Royal Court). Other theatre work includes Three Sisters (Field Day Theatre), Well Of The Saints and On Baile Strand (ITC), Famine and The Beggars Opera (Druid Theatre Company), An Ideal Husband and The Crack And The Whip (Galloglass). Television work includes Pete vs. Life and Pulling (Channel 4), I Shouldn’t Be Alive (Darlow Smithson), Mrs. Brown’s Boys (BBC), Whistleblower, Single Handed and Fair City (RTÉ), Perfect Day-The Funeral (World Productions), 55 Degrees North (ITV), The Bill (Thames Television), Casualty, Sea Of Souls, Grease Monkeys, Eastenders, Dalziel and Pascoe, McCready and Daughter , My Family and A Safe House (BBC). Film work includes Eden, Garage and Veronica Guerin. Gary trained at the Drama Centre London.
