Eamonn Owens
Eamonn’s last appearance at the Abbey theatre was in a play reading of The Death and Resurrection of Mr Roche. Other theatre work includes The Flags, for which he received a Manchester Evening News award for Best Supporting Actor (Royal Exchange), The Way Home (Everyman, Liverpool), The Field (Tricycle), The Beauty Queen of Leenane (national tour) and Tadhg Stray Wandered In (Project Arts Centre). Film and television credits include Dorothy Mils, Studs, Breakfast on Pluto, The Big Bow Wow, Bachelors Walk, The Great Ceili War, Benedict Arndol, Magdalene, The Seventh Stream, The Terms, the Fitz, Angela’s Ashes, St Patrick, The Buthcher Boy (for which he received a Special Achievement Award from the Berlin Film festival), Amongst Women and The General.
