Donna Dent

Donna’s previous work at the Abbey Theatre includes Dolly West’s Kitchen, The Passion of Jerome, A Woman of No Importance, and The Cherry Orchard. Other theatre work includes God Of Carnage, Cat on A Hot Tin Roof, Great Expectations, The Old Curiosity Shop, All My Sons, Therese Raquin, Arcadia, A Dublin Carol, As You Like It, Aristocrats, Cyrano de Bergerac, Uncle Vanya, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Heiress, Great Expectations, She Stoops to Conquer, Pride and Prejudice, Gates of Gold, A Doll’s House and Old Times (Gate Theatre), Taking Steps (Gaiety Theatre), Dancing at Lughnasa and King Lear (Second Age), The Marlboro Man (Project Arts Centre), Don’t Dress For Dinner (Andrew’s Lane Theatre), and The Merchant of Venice and Othello (Playwrights and Actors). Film and television credits include The Tudors (Showtime and BBC), Raw, Amber, Rough Diamond, Single-Handed, Bachelor’s Walk and Fair City (RTE), Ballykissangel, Old New Borrowed Blue and Family (BBC), Vicious Circle (BBCNI), The Bill (UTV), Ella Enchanted (Miramax Films), Zonad (Element Pictures) and Chasing Leprechauns (Hallmark Channel and Parallel Films). Donna trained at the Brendan Smith Academy and the College of Music.
