Donal O’ Farrell
Donal O’Farrell’s work as a fight director at the Abbey Theatre includes Lovers at Versailles, The Big House, Hamlet, Portia Coughlan, Chun na Fairraige Síos, Defender of the Faith, Purgatory, The Dandy Dolls, I Do Not Like Thee, Doctor Fell, The Shaughraun, The House of Bernarda Alba, Henry IV, The Sanctuary Lamp, The Morning after Optimism, A Whistle in the Dark, A Life, The Wake and The Honey Spike. Other theatre productions include Done Up Like a Kipper, Juno and the Paycock, Maria (Wexford Festival Opera) and The Field (SFX Theatre). Donal has worked as a stunt co-ordinator on films including Good Vibrations, Shadow Dancer, Neverland, Citadel, Treasure Island, Whole Lotta Sole, Hidden, Primeval, The Guard, My Brothers, Runway, Jack Taylor, Rásaí na Gaillimhe, Happy Ever Afters, Triage, Cracks, George Gently, The Daisy Chain, Murphy’s Law, Becoming Jane, The Tiger’s Tale, Mighty Celt, Ek Tha Tiger, Sanctuary, Flowers of Desire, Haywire, Zonad, P.S. I Love You, Lassie and Titanic. Television work as a stunt co-ordinator includes Love/Hate and Raw (RTÉ). Donal has also worked as a fight director for the Gaiety Theatre, SFX Theatre and Project Arts Centre.
