Daithí Mac Suibhne
This is Daithí’s debut at the Abbey Theatre. Most recently he appeared in Othello (Bruiser Theatre Company and 2011 Tour) and We Are Not Afraid (Curious Doings). Other theatre work includes The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui (Bruiser Theatre Company), Elegies for Angels Punks and Raging Queens (The Rainbow Project Belfast), Paper Boy + Friends (Engine13), The Middle Distance (IDGTF-Shorts), Rum and Vodka (Post Production Theatre) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Upstart Theatre). Film work includes Dead On (Ghetto Film School NYC, in association with Cinemagic Belfast). Daithí recently took part in a professional residency with one of the UK’s foremost physical theatre companies, Frantic Assembly, hosted by Primecut Productions Belfast. He studied Drama Studies at University College Dublin and was a participant in 2009’s experimental Postgraduate Training Diploma at Queen’s University.
