Charlie Murphy

This is Charlie’s first time working at the Abbey Theatre. She is a graduate of the Gaiety School of Acting. Her theatre credits include Romeo and Juliet (Half Moon Theatre), The Sound of Music, Cabaret, 4.48 Psychosis (Bare Cheek), The Taming of the Shrew (Shakespeare in the Park), Fowl, Conspiracy Theory (Bodily Functions), Pool-No Water (Granary Theatre), Poet Laureate, Faustus (Crazy Dog Audio Theatre), Once a Catholic (Wexford Opera House), The Colleen Bawn, This is Our Youth (Bedrock, Project Arts Centre) Anatomy of a Seagull, Jesus has my Mom in there (Loose Canon) and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui (Bruiser Theatre). Her television and film credits includes Open House (Arc Fold), Bluebeard (Cartoon Saloon), Jenny Was a Friend of Mine (RTÉ’s online Storyland Project), Love-Hate (Octagon, RTÉ), Single-Handed (RTÉ, ITV) and Camelot (Starz Channel).
