Catherine Fay
Catherine’s work with the Abbey Theatre includes Macbeth, The Playboy of the Western World, Saved, Doubt, Doldrum Bay, Henry IV Part I (for which she received an Irish Times/ESB Theatre Award nomination), On Such As We and Chair (Operating Theatre). She has designed much of Bedrock’s back catalogue including Wedding Day at the Cro Magnon’s, Roberto Zucco, Quay West, Night Just Before the Forest , Wideboy Gospel and Massacre @ Paris. Other work includes It Only Ever Happens in the Movies (National Youth Theatre), 5 Ways to Drown (Junk Ensemble), King Lear (Second Age) Mother Goose and Beauty and the Beast (Gaiety Theatre), Talking to Terrorists, Farawayan (Calypso), Love and Money, Pyrennes and Cruel and Tender (Hatch Theatre Company), Adrenalin (Semper Fi), Mushroom, The Red Hot Runaways, Antigone and Women in Arms (Storytellers), Lessness (Gare St Lazare Players, Kilkenny Festival and National Theatre, London), Y2K Festival (Fishamble) and Babyjane (The Corn Exchange). Catherine is a graduate of the National College of Art and Design.
