Carl’s work at the Abbey Theatre includes Only an Apple, The Comedy of Errors and assistant sound designer on The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. The Giant Blue Hand (The Ark/Theatre Lovett), Little Gem, Meltdown (Gúna Nua), Doughnuts, Light Signals, Skin and Blister (TEAM), The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Making Strange), Phaedra’s Love (Loose Canon), Black Milk, Scarborough, Right Here Right Now (Prime Cut), All Over Town (Calipo), The Infant (Mirari Productions), End of the Line (Cork Midsummer Festival 2008), Love’s Labour’s Lost (Samuel Beckett Theatre), Howie the Rookie (Granary Theatre, Cork), They Never Froze Walt Disney (Theatre Makers), A Man in Half with composer Nico Brown (Theatre Lovett) and The Shawl (Bewley’s Café Theatre). He was sound designer for Macbeth (Siren Productions) and sound co-designer with Denis Clohessy on Unraveling the Ribbon (Gúna Nua).
