Barry’s work at the Abbey Theatre includes Drama at Inish, All My Sons, Lovers at Versailles, Translations (US and European tour), The Silver Tassie, You Can’t Take It With You, The Freedom of the City (Lincoln Center, New York), The Invisible Mending Company, Ceacht Houdini, The Cavalcaders (Royal Court), Sour Grapes, The Passion of Jerome and Cúirt an Mheán Oíche. Other theatre work includes Shoot the Crow (Livin’ Dred), The Sugar Wife, The Life of Galileo (Rough Magic), Pilgrims in the Park (Fishamble), An Ghráin agus An Ghruaim, Anraith Neantoige (Amharclann de hÍde), Hansel and Gretel (Storytellers) Borstal Boy, John Bull’s Other Island, Juno and the Paycock (Gaiety Theatre), The Caretaker (Focus Theatre), Twelfth Night and The Shadow of a Gunman (Gate Theatre). He has toured extensively in Ireland, Britain and America with many productions. Film and television credits include Occi Versus the World, Aifric, Kings, Fair City, Spin the Bottle, Veronica Guerin, No Tears, The Hanging Gale, Painted Lady, The Ambassador, Moll Flanders, Michael Collins, Ordinary Decent Criminal and The Escapist.
