Amy Molloy
This is Amy’s first time working at the Abbey Theatre. She trained at LAMDA and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York and recently graduated after three years at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London. Stage credits include Margaret in Come on Over (Tristan Bates, London), Dorie in Ferris Wheel, Mrs Susannah Cibber in A Laughing Matter (Pleasance Theatre, London), Polina in The Seagull (Chelsea Theatre), Father Mullarkey in Once a Catholic (Upstairs at the Gatehouse for Lost Theatre), The Surveyor (Lost Theatre’s One Act Festival, New End, Hampstead), Bronagh in Declan Feenan’s Building Site (Miniaturists19, Arcola Theatre), Kitty Galloway in Kitty and Damnation by Joseph Crilly (Lion and Unicorn Theatre), Poppet in Vassily Sigarev’s, Black Milk (Prime Cut Productions, Brian Friel Theatre, Belfast) and Mairead in The Lieutenant of Inishmore (Curve Theatre, Leicester). Most recently, Amy performed a rehearsed reading for a new Owen McCafferty play, Love Lies, and she has been helping develop a new script, Truth and Translations, N.Ireland with Owen McCafferty and Michael Lessac. Her most recent of three short films was Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? for London Met film School.
