Aisling’s work at the Abbey Theatre includes Marble, Lay Me Down Softly, The Cavalcaders, Famine, The Honeyspike, On the Inside/On the Outside, Silverlands, The Winter Thief, Away Alone, The Corsican Brothers, The Power of Darkness and The Murphy Initiative. Other theatre work includes The Playboy of the Western World (Druid) for which she won an Irish Times Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actress, Crestfall (Gate Theatre), The Duchess of Malfi (RSC), Miss Julie (Haymarket), The Maids (Young Vic), Vasa (Albery Theatre), Mutabilitie, The Cripple of Inishman (National Theatre, London), Hysteria (Duke of Yorks), The Seagull (Thelma Holt tour), Slavs (Hampstead Theatre) and The Playboy of the Western World (Almeida). Films include The Actors, The One and Only, The Announcement, The American, The War Zone, The Butcher Boy and Michael Collins. Television credits include The Clinic, for which she won an IFTA (Irish Film and Television Awards) for Best Actress in Television, 2007, Me and Mrs Jones, Shockers, The Wyvern Mystery, Life Support, Cracker and Runway One.
