Aidan’s work at the Abbey Theatre includes Roma in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, C in Terminus, Mark Antony in Julius Caesar, Fr Flynn in Doubt, The Howie Lee in Howie the Rookie, Austin in True West, The Guard in The Burial at Thebes, Jack Clitheroe in The Plough and the Stars, Johnny Boyle in Juno and the Paycock, Don Mauro in Barbaric Comedies and Lep in Sucking Dublin. Recent theatre includes Shory in The Man Who Had All the Luck (Donmar Warehouse), Jamie in Long Day’s Journey into Night (Druid), Marco in A View from the Bridge (Gate Theatre), the title role in Macbeth (Second Age), Lucius in Titus Andronicus (Siren) and Andy in Take Me Away (Rough Magic). Other theatre credits include Tim in The Good Father, Ned in Philadelphia, Here I Come! (Druid), Parolles in All’s Well that Ends Well (Classic Stage Ireland), The Soldier in Blasted (Bedrock Production), the title role in The Shaughraun (Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh), The Howie Lee in Howie the Rookie (The Bush Theatre, which played London, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, New York and San Francisco), Mick in Comedians, Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing (Bickerstaffe), Oisin in Diarmuid and Grainne, various characters in Buddleia and Native City (The Passion Machine), The Father in Zoe’s Play (The Ark) and Paddy in Paddy and Clogs (TEAM). Film and television credits include Billy in Eden, Moynahan in Porcelain, Sean in Kitchen (Channel 5), Joe in Pride and Joy, Dermot in The Clinic, Dean in Bachelor’s Walk, Cassidy in Proof, Fair City and Making The Cut (RTÉ).
