Abbey Theatre - Amharclann na Mainistreach

Belvedere House is of one of Dublin’s finest Georgian buildings, and was built by Michael Stapelton for the second Earl of Belvedere in 1786, and purchased subsequently by the Jesuits in 1841.

Getting to the OReilly
The OReilly Theatre is located on Great Denmark Street, 5 minutes walk form O’Connell Street. It is well served by public transport. The theatre is easily accessed by all buses going into the city centre stopping on Parnell Street, Parnell Square and O’Connell Street.

The nearest Luas stop is Abbey Street. From here walk north (away from the Liffey) up Marlborough St., cross Parnell Street and continue up North Great George’s St where you will meet Great Denmark Street and the OReilly Theatre will be directly in front of you.

The nearest Dart station is Connolly station. When exiting the station cross the street to Talbot street. From here walk away from the station to Marlborough St., cross Parnell Street and continue up North Great George’s St where you will meet Great Denmark Street and the OReilly Theatre will be directly in front of you.

Car park
Parking (including disabled parking) is available for €5 (for the full evening) after 5.30pm at the Irish Life Car Park off Lower Abbey Street.
