The Susan Smith Blackburn Award is an annual award for women playwrights
A list of theatres (including the Abbey) on both sides of the Atlantic are invited to nominate a new work of outstanding quality by women playwrights for the Susan Smith Blackburn Award . This year we’ve nominated B for Baby by Carmel Winters, so let’s all wish Carmel the best of luck!
B for Baby is now in rehearsal and getting close to its first stage appearance. It previews from 24 – 29 September and opens on 30 September.
