Gary Mitchell’s previous plays produced by the Abbey Theatre include In a Little World of our Own and As the Beast Sleeps. Both of these new plays were directed by Conall Morrison. In 1998 In A Little World of Our Own won an ESB/Irish Times Theatre Award for best new play. This production also played at the Lyric Theatre, Belfast, marking the Abbey Theatre’s first visit to the Lyric Theatre.
