What’s been happening in 2009… New Playwrights Programme
Meet the six writers who have taken part in the pilot New Playwrights Programme
We began our pilot New Playwrights Programme in February with six writers whose work had come to our attention through our unsolicited scripts process: Jody O’Neill, Lisa Keogh, Neil Sharpson, Aidan Harney, Shona McCarthy and Lisa Tierney-Keogh.
The programme continued throughout the year with workshops from Abbey Theatre practitioners and guest speakers including Tim Crouch, Marina Carr, Graham Whybrow, Sam Shepard, Tom Mac Intyre, Conall Morrison, and Tom Murphy.
