Day 3 Review of The Theatre of War Symposium

Day 3 Review of The Theatre of War Symposium

Saturday 24th January 2015 brought our Symposium to a close with a final series of thought provoking talks.

Our final panel featured sociologist, writer and director Frédérique LeComte, director Vladimir Shcherban (translated by Sasha Padziarei) and artistic director of Palestine’s Ashtar Theatre, Iman Aoun (moderated by Prof. Patrick Lonergan).
Following this, Pádraig Yeates spoke about the commemoration of the lockout; before playwright Marina Carr delivered the closing talk on art, beauty and war.
