I throughly enjoyed the evening and must say that I thought the cast were excellent. A little predictable at times perhaps but I saw the ‘audience reaction’ above and knew exactly what type of show I was going to see - I laughed my boots off.

I went to see “Bookworms” on the 6th Jne and loved it. I really needed a good laugh and it was the best night’s entertainment I have had for a long time - The acting was terrific - I’m a teacher and just loved the character of the school principal. I’ve recommended it to all my friends.

I went along(alone) thinking of one of his plays I had seen way back viz., “I do not like thee, Dr.Fell”, which was dead on as satire etc. But as for “Bookworms” well, I walked out(couldn’t wait!) at the interlude. A comedy sketch. That’s all it was. Cliche jokes tired and worn to death. I knew Bernard adn drank with him opposite the Abbey years ago. Lovely fellow but Bernard NO! Sorry, 5 out of 10 is all I can award the comedy....I know ‘the Bookclub’ was a contrivance to hang the story on but anything else would have done better....etc
